One last stop for birders is the Port Aransas Birding Center, which also falls on the route of many species’ migrations.

As the birthplace of Santa Gertrudis cattle and the home of the first American Quarter Horse, this is the real deal for cowboy aficionados. Shop for unique clothing, relax under the care of a masseuse, partake of herbal tea, attend poetry slams, and eat from a tasty vegetarian menu at this hip shop.
