The Capella Hotel in Singapore

Capella Hotel Singapore

Nestled on the island of Sentosa, just a quarter mile from downtown Singapore, the Capella Hotel is setting a new standard for luxury resorts.

The setting is pristine.  The island’s name is Malay for tranquillity, and its rainforest canopy and endless stretches of white sand beaches make it a popular tourist destination. At its heart, the Capella has blended old Singapore with new traditions to create an oasis of peace.

The Capella is settled on 30 acres of gardens at one of the highest points on the island.  Its garden setting feels removed from urban Singapore, looking out toward the South China Sea, but the city’s cosmopolitan center is just minutes away.

Each of the 112 guest rooms, suites, villas and manors have been designed in contemporary Asian style, decorated with unique art pieces and featuring wide windows, all overlooking the gardens.  Many of the suites and villas feature private plunge pools.

Marble vanities, a Bose stereo system, and LCD television create a homey feeling, but the Capella goes beyond comfort.  When you reserve with the Capella, your own personal assistant will begin working with you to craft your perfect getaway. From arranging conference venues for business travelers to making dinner reservations, your personal assistant will arrange everything just for you.

The Capella also puts its fleet of Mercedes and Rolls Royce at your disposal, to explore Singapore in luxury.

Garden rooms start at $500 USD per night (400 euro), complete with a rain shower, balcony and complementary refreshment centre.  Suites or villas range from $800 USD (600 euro) all the way to $1,800 per night for the three bedroom villa with a well-appointed kitchen and living room.

For true luxury, the Capella Manor Best can be arranged for $9,000 USD per night (7,000 euro).  It sleeps six people, and comes with food credits, a chauffeur-driven Mercedes, and daily spa treatments, along with its restaurant-calibre kitchen, three bedrooms and stunning living and dining room areas.

With its modern design, relaxing pools and restored historic bungalows dating back to British colonial days, the Capella blends the best of both old and new Singapore into an island of peace, just steps away from one of the world’s most exciting cities.
