Nestled in the heart of the Left Bank, Hotel Le Seven is not what you would expect in a Parisian hotel.  No marble columns and 18th-century elegance here. Le Seven is an ultra-modern, über-chic, and utterly unique boutique hotel with some surprising twists.

Built by the creators of the Five Hotel in Paris, Le Seven has 28 individually-styled guest rooms, and seven suites, each done by a different designer, each with its own theme.

The 007 Suite recreates the world of James Bond in retro sixties-era detail, featuring a large flat screen television, all the 007 movies, a golden toilet, its own lounge, and even a lamp shaped as a golden gun.

The Black Diamond Suite is decorated entirely in black and gold, with the glimmer of mirrors and diamonds through out the suite.  Even the black Swarovski bathtub glitters.

On the opposite end of the spectrum comes the Marie Antoinette suite, a tribute to the frivolity of the French Queen’s boudoir, all done in crystals and pink lights.

The Sublime suite is all-white, with everything shaped into rounded gentle curves, even its round levitating bed.

Prices for the suites range from 600 to 800 Euro per night, with the Lovez-vous suite and its double Jacuzzi, fireplace and shower room starting at 900 Euro.

Rooms range from 200 to 300 Euro per night, and each are also uniquely designed with levitating beds and levitating bath tubs. For all rooms and suites, rates are lower if you stay three nights.

On the odd chance you get tired of your room, Hotel Le Seven also has a colourful lounge, and a muted wine bar.

If you had your heart set on classic Paris, with French country décor, antiques and gilded trim, this is not the place for you.  Le Seven is modern Paris at its best; dramatic and cool, colourful and fun, a feast for the traveller’s senses.
